Peder Wallenberg, an architect and developer by profession, has served as non-executive director on the board of Swedish companies, like Astra, Swedish Match and Providentia. Mr Wallenberg is currently chairman of the board of Lingfield AB, a private equity and venture capital investment firm.
Mr. Wallenberg is the settler of the Peder Sager Wallenberg Charitable Trust, providing donations to various charitable casues, e.g. the Swedish foundation Stiftelsen Carpe Vitam and projects under the name of Open Mind.
Stiftelsen Carpe Vitam is a non-profit foundation focusing on sustainable social development, education and culture based upon the human values of respect for other people and social responsibility. The goal is to support a holistic Open Mind set, intercultural cooperation and entrepreneurial thinking. Stiftelsen Carpe Vitam is a partner of Unesco.
