Carpe Vitam means Seize Life!

The Foundation is collaborating with schools, universities, governments, non-profit organisations and development agencies in order to promote innovative approaches to education and leadership training. Carpe Vitam seeks to foster conditions supporting greater understanding, cooperation, and peace in the world.

Carpe Vitam has through its network of universities and international research expertise developed learning concepts to be used in Carpe Vitam supported schools and Open Mind Global social centers (OMG) with inspiration from concepts like for instance, Reggio Emilia, Visible Thinking – Harvard University, Leadership Learning – Cambridge University, and brain research projects through OECD and Harvard University.

Music and especially choral singing is an important part of implementing the activities of Carpe Vitam, as music through the years has proven to be one of the most efficient and appreciated ways to reach intercultural understanding and create inspirational projects.
