Project Zero at Harvard University
Carpe Vitam collaborates with Project Zero, a research group within Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. The assignment is to better understand and improve learning, thinking and creativity within artistic, humanistic and scientific activities. The target audience is teachers and pupils in classes 4–8.
By examining the windings of thinking we aim to help teachers also to develop their pupils’ thinking to become more creative, more truth–seeking and from more viewpoints. The objective is to develop concept and exercises that teachers can use as required in the classroom. The theoretical and empirical foundation for this project, Innovating with Intelligence, originates in earlier research and applications in the recently finished project Patterns of Thinking.
The collaboration was established in April 2000 and is led by Professor David Perkins, Dr. Shari Tishman and Dr. Ron Ritchart.
